Egungun masking event

Egungun masks are shrines in motion.
Each mask is owned by one of the major lineages that make up the community.
It is believed that the ancestors continue to exercise control and influence over the living, and that they manifest themselves in the mask during festivals.

The Egungun mask actualizes the mystical relationship between departed fathers and their sons.
